UK Glasgow Queen Street 1987 UK

A busy morning in this Scottish terminus, with West Highland and Inverness services as well as Edinburgh and local traffic and holiday extras. Your task includes resolving problems caused by occasional non-availability of class 47/7 for push-pull services.
This simulation is set at Queen Street High Level Station in Glasgow. Queen Street is a terminus of the former LNER, previously North British, main line to Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen. Since route rationalisation by BR, traffic on the former LMS route to Perth and Inverness also uses Queen Street, as do trains on the West Highland line which now carries traffic to both Fort William and Oban.
The station is seen on a busy Saturday in the summer of 1987. You have to direct all the trains in and out, selecting platforms to avoid delays and minimise congestion; you also have to allocate appropriate motive power to each loco-hauled service. You will have to plan how to use the available platforms to avoid conflicts between arrivals and departures, and adjustments may be needed when arrivals are running late.
