UK Kings Cross 1990 UK

Quite a contrast with 1978: almost nothing loco-hauled remains, the electric suburban service is now much more frequent, and Class 91 "Electra" are appearing on Leeds services. Kings Cross is busier than ever - can you handle it?
This simulation is set at King's Cross, the Eastern Region Great Northern line terminus in London. King's Cross is the terminus of the former LNER main line to Doncaster, York, Leeds, Newcastle and Edinburgh, and is seen on a busy weekday in early 1990 when Class 91 "Electra" locomotives and Mark 4 push-pull sets have taken over most services on the Leeds route. You have to direct all the trains in and out, selecting platforms to avoid delays and minimise congestion.
You will have to plan how to use the available platforms to avoid conflicts between arrivals and departures, and adjustments will be needed when arrivals are running late. A further complication is that some local services in the late afternoon combine to form eight-car sets for rush-hour workings.
